Helping Low-Income Students Attend Top Colleges
The education is the most important factor to break the ice of poverty but on the other hand, the rate of completion of college is very low due to low income of households and in other countries where development is also slow. Nearly 35 percent of students in low household income enroll for higher education and only 52 percent of the studies will likely to graduate degree. In the USA, the completion rates are lower in the families in poverty. There must be done something to bring the students of lower income families to finish the education. In the USA, a program is made in Center for Law and Social Policy (CLASP) with the help of American Association of Community Colleges. They report the benefits access for college completion and ready to enroll the local communities with low-income across the country to take part in colleges.
