Abstract

The book presents one spectacular group of finds, jewellery made of different materials. The book inludes a chapter on the meaning of Roman jewellery, typical materials and the ways jewellery produce in Aquincum (in the capital of provine Pannonia Inferior, now in  Budapest) were manufctured.Typology and dating are also based on local features. Chapters dedicated to the analyses of different types of jewellery also includes the opignions of ancient writers and even something about clothing traditions.
