farhang shadravan The Micro Injection Moulding is supposed to provide the precision of micron or even submicron for the products which are produced by this kind of particular process. But against of this expectation the  methods  of  design and manufacturing of the  basic  components  of this process  are so  delicate, because  the  main  subject  which  in  this  process  is  the  Micro  Mould  has  to  be  designed  and manufactured  based  on  two  different  aspects;  the  first  aspect  is  Injection  Moulding  and  its components:  Injection  Machine  and  Mould;  the  second  is  considering  the  micro  size  and  micro tolerance of the product that has to be provided by  a  high precision process.  Therefore  we have to combine both of these aspects  to provide a high precision micro product.  For producing the micro product  we  have  to  design  and  manufacture  the  Micro  Mould  and  provide  the  micro  injection machine.  The micro mould has three main parts: Injection Side,  Ejection Side  and  Ejection  System. According to these facts in this paper we will discuss about the differences between Micro Injection Moulding  and the traditional injection moulding  that can  be practical and applicable in the phase of mould design, mould manufacturing and production.
